The short version

The PXF PokerNow Connector exists for one purpose: to let you connect your own PokerNow account to PokerXFactor so your games import automatically for post-game coaching. When you click Connect, the extension reads your PokerNow session cookies (not your password) and sends them — over HTTPS, once — to PokerXFactor, which stores them encrypted. It reads nothing else, touches no other website, and you can disconnect (which permanently deletes the stored login) with one click at any time.

1. Single Purpose

The extension has a single purpose: connect your PokerNow account to your PokerXFactor account so that PokerXFactor can fetch the games you played and generate your coaching automatically. It does nothing unrelated to that purpose.

2. What the Extension Accesses

PokerNow session cookies. When — and only when — you click Connect, the extension reads two PokerNow authentication cookies (apt and npt) for the pokernow.com domain. These are session tokens that prove a logged-in PokerNow account. They let PokerXFactor fetch your games on your behalf.

Nothing else. The extension does not read your PokerNow password (it never has access to it), your browsing history, other websites' data, your bookmarks, your identity on other sites, or any cookies outside pokernow.com. It has no content scripts and injects no code into web pages.

3. Permissions, and Why

cookies — to read your apt/npt PokerNow session cookies when you click Connect.
Host access to pokernow.com — to scope the cookie read to PokerNow only. No other host is requested.
Connection to PokerXFactor (app.pokerxfactor.com) — so the PXF web app can ask the extension to connect. This is the only site allowed to message the extension.

4. How Your Login Is Handled

Transmission: the cookies are sent directly from the extension to a PokerXFactor server endpoint over HTTPS, exactly once per connect. They are never written to disk by the extension or exposed to any web page.

Storage: on the PokerXFactor server, the cookies are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and are accessible only to PokerXFactor's backend service (never readable by any browser client, including yours). They are used solely to fetch your own PokerNow games for your coaching.

Disconnect / deletion: clicking Disconnect PokerNow in PokerXFactor immediately and permanently purges the stored encrypted login. PokerNow session cookies also expire on their own over time; an expired connection simply stops importing until you reconnect.

5. What We Never Do

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not share your PokerNow login with anyone. The connection is used for one thing only: importing your own games into your own PokerXFactor account. This is consistent with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements — data obtained through the extension is used only to provide the single user-facing feature described above, and is never transferred to third parties except as required to operate that feature.

6. Data Handled by PokerXFactor

Once your games are imported, they are handled under the main PokerXFactor Privacy Policy, which covers hand-history storage, AI analysis, and your deletion rights. The extension itself only handles the connection step described here.
